On Wednesday, November 12th, 2014, Over 400 women participated in Art & Soul, a special evening that raised crucial funds for the Farber Soul Center. The Farber Soul Center will be a place where individuals with special needs will be able to learn crucial job and life skills.
During the event, close to $90,000 was raised to help furnish the Farber Soul Center.

VSP was hired to assist with the project, immediately following the Friendship Circle Walk in late August. As you’ll see in a few photos, the event was held in a pre-renovation state and has been sitting vacant for over 5 years. With over 400 guests scheduled to attend the event; audio, video, lighting and display elements were paramount to the success of the event. Audio consisted of 3 separate zones so guests could hear the presentation and video elements throughout the space. Video was unique. To showcase what each studio would look and feel like, 5 Flat Panels were placed in old store fronts, each with a separate video presentation. The main entrance, along with the main presentation area and donation bar, each had a separate screen. A live video feed was sent to each area, so overflow guests could watch the presentation and feel included within a separate space. Lighting consisted of approximatly 4 dozen fixtures to create a warm blue hue throughout the space.
A unique display piece created using 40′ of Aluminum Truss was erected for Art Work to be displayed for purchase. This part of the event was actually held out-doors, however with heavy black drape panels and heaters provided by Berry’s Lets Rent It, the space felt like you were inside the building and was nice and toasty on a cold winter evening.
