It started with one rig and a stubborn refusal to do a half job.
Visionary Sound Productions is a full-service event production company headquartered in Commerce Township, Michigan. We've been at this since 2004. Long enough that many of our clients have been with us for more than a decade, and some have been with us since the beginning.
When you call, text, or email, you'll speak directly with the owner. That's not a marketing line. It's how we've always run things, and it's the reason a wedding mother sends a thank-you about ceiling lights three weeks later, the reason a high school principal renews for the fourth year running.

Aaron Barris
Owner, lead designer, and the voice on the other end of the phone. Aaron has been designing lighting, sound, and event productions for over two decades, and has been featured in PLSN's Showtime section 25 times.
Twenty-two years, quietly measured.
From 60-person weddings to 1,500-student dances and stadium-scale productions.
PLSN Showtime, FOH Showtime,, Carats & Cake & More
Same name on the door since 2004. Same name answering the phone.
Designers, venues, schools and families who've been with us for a decade or longer.
Five things we won't compromise on.
- 01
Free advice is free.
You'll never see a consultation charge. Whether or not we end up working together, you leave knowing more than you came with.
- 02
Fixed pricing, period.
If we said it's in, it's in. No day-of upcharges, no "oh, that's extra." The quote you sign is the bill you pay.
- 03
The owner answers.
Your event isn't a ticket number. Every call, every text, every email goes to a person who can make decisions.
- 04
Corporate-grade gear, every event.
Equipment used in corporate and live production environments, chosen for reliability, consistency, and performance under pressure.
- 05
On site, on time, on point.
Our crew is dialed in before guests arrive. We stay through the last song and cue. The room you imagined is the room we build.
